whats the best type of gps for geocaching?
i wanted to know the best type of portable/hand held gps. i need one where i can put the coords in myself. anybody got any ideas??
Almost every handheld GPS has the function where you can enter coordinates by hand. I've used a Garmin eTrex Legend and GPSMAP 76CSx as well as a Magellan SporTrak Pro and eXplorist 400. They all had the capability to enter coordinates by hand and could use the coordinates downloaded from geaocaching.com.
