It can. You can use the gps 2 ways. The first just uses the gps receiver in the phone and that is free. The second way to use it is to use the gps receiver in conjunction with your cell service. The second way runs faster and is more accurate however it can cost you airtime depending on your data plan.

as it goes is windows mobile the best operating system to go with on pda phones? SOme people don’t like the idea of having to turn on a windows mobile device to make a phone call and use a touch screen instead of keys for dialing. Are devices like the htc touch diamond the way to go as some people prefer smaller phones but the htc has larger screen. I think the htc devices are awesome as you have everything in one device. the n95 cant run windows gps software which sucks
