What is the best hand held GPS unit for golf?
Wounded Duck – Lighten up you miserable bastard.
Heres a good comparison chart for all the popular brands.
Quite interesting what you get for your money.
I understand the iGolf Neo is very popular;

Pitiful. Now you need an electronic device to keep from getting lost on a golf course.

Wounded Duck – Obviously, you've never played golf or been on a golf course….pitiful. I think we're talking about GPS rangefinders, not GPS navigation units.
Anywho… Try Sonocaddie. There's no annual subsription fee, but make sure the courses you play are on the system before you buy. I personally recommend CostCo ($239) for their UNLIMITED LIFETIME RETURN.

I bought a Skycaddie2.5 2 months ago and it is great , its small the screen is easy to read and it has some cool features , I am very happy with it , the screen is B/W but really that is all you need , I found it very surprising how off alot of yardages were at regular golf courses that I played , but with this cool unit all the yardages are accurate , its easy to operate and easy to download courses off the website .
Good Luck .

Are these legal, bro?

Check out the iGolf units. They make one that fits in your pocket. I have the larger one and it works great. And you don't need to subscribe to them like you do with Skycaddie.
